Some Finnish papers are reporting on recently surfaced information about a tablet computer by Nokia in 2001. It actually had a product run of 1000 but never went sale as management killed the project at the last moment, because they thought the market is not ripe for it. Most were destroyed, except for some owned by the engineers that worked in it. This link is in Finnish but shows interesting images and a page from users manual(?) in English: www.digitoday.fi/vimpaimet/2014/04/15/nokialla-oli-valmis-tabletti-13-vuotta-sitten--talta-se-naytti/20145333/66It looks large and clumsy in modern eyes, but so did cell phones at the time. A few iterations might have made it slick. What if.. Samsung lawyers might want to take note (yes, it has rounded corners!).
