... and a whole lot more will show up on Google. IMHO A re-trial was not really expected, especially from this court. This pretty much is progressing how PJ predicted.

i agree... i don't think they've even expected a re-trial. they've just been building a case for the appeals.

Reading news articles without PJ's breakdown/interpretation really makes me ill. From following this trial through her eyes and being able to read the actual court documents, just makes me rage when I read the slanderous bias. Not having Groklaw is harder than I expected.

So what do we do about it? Wayne madhatter.ca

That is an extremely good question.
The first part is fairly easy to solve, having the actual documents posted.
The second part, interpretation, synopsis, and knowledgeable opinion are much harder.
Who could we find that would have the time, knowledge, and insight that PJ has?
The role could be filled by multiple people but who will step up?

I know business, but I don't know law. One thing we need is someone with experience decoding legal documents. I'm not to bad on contracts and corporate finance, but court filings confuse me. Specifically we need someone with American legal experience, since most of the court cases are being filed in the United States. Wayne madhatter.ca

It's not like we'd let Florian Mueller do it for us. What we had with PJ was so unique, so special. It's going to be really hard to get that again. I really wish I could see what is going on with this case. I just don't trust Koh to do the right thing.

We could ask Mark to get some of his students to post analysis. Might be interesting.

He's got an impressive track record for being Dead Wrong. Students are problematic. The reason PJ was so good at explaining the impact of court filings, was she had years of experience. Experience counts. Wayne madhatter.ca

I only invoked the unholy name of FloMo to make a point that not everyone, even if they have the skills we may want for legal analysis, will have the integrity and experience PJ has.
