Interestingly that can't be done in the UK as the 1988 Copyright Designs and Patents Act Section 45 specifically excludes legal proceedings paperwork from copyright protection - see www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1988/48/contents

As far as I'm aware the same is true in the US - hence why it refers to "a document that is not copyrightable"
