Tablet OSes killed Windows 8 and Microsoft with it

Good article by Charlie Demerjian on how Microsoft messed up with Windows 8. What Charlie doesn't extend his analysis to is the impact this is having on Microsft's cash cow, Microsoft Office. Office is mostly a Windows application (the Mac version doesn't sell many copies), and every drop in Windows installs means a drop in Office sales.
